At Wattyl, we develop products that meet Australian and Global eco standards which help us to protect our customers' assets as well as our planet.We are on the look-out for a highly motivated, driven People Leader to be part of Wattyl's journey to future-proof our success as a Regional Manager leading our VIC/TAS Teams.As the Regional Manager you will:Be a part of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Sales AU, leading our VIC/TAS region.Lead our Field Sales, Trade & Retail channels to market and growth through our network of Company Stores.Inspire a culture of Sales Excellence and Strategy execution.Develop field sales planning, to effectively counter local competition.Be responsible for Store operational effectiveness and P&L path to profitability for stores in the region.Demonstrate and role model passion for safe working behaviours and attitudes, ensuring there is a strong safety culture within the Region.Promote continuous improvement and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships across the Trade and Retail channels.Play a crucial role in the company expansion leading to future sales revenue for the Wattyl Business.In order to be considered you will have:Tertiary qualification in Business or similar would be ideal.Be an accomplished, passionate leader with proven experience in multi store/site management within the trade/building industry (5 years minimum at this level).Demonstrated success in defining and executing a sales strategy through creating an engaged sales team.You will possess in-depth experience with safety management in a retail or trade environment, promoting a safety culture.You are an exceptional communicator with a passion for people and what we do.Driven by ideas to always improve and challenge with commercial savviness.Interstate travel will be required in this role.Wattyl, a part of Hempel, knows that a great business needs a fantastic team.
