Fire Protection Technologies is seeking a dynamic and energetic Regional Manager to lead our QLD & NT team.A fantastic opportunity awaits a sales-focused individual to make a significant impact on our operations, with responsibilities across business development, sales, marketing, and product support.This role has oversight over the Sales performance of our operation and reports to the National Sales Manager. Our current and future success will be achieved by providing the best products and service to existing and new customers in the Special Hazard space.Our product technologies range from gaseous suppression, water mist, foam suppression, specialised fire detection and microenvironment systems. Our products and services are aligned to critical industries including industrial, commercial, petrochem, infrastructure, marine, mining, military & defence, and transport, making this role unique and exciting.Other responsibilities will include:Providing a safe work environment for all employees while meeting company safety objectives.Developing yearly budgets with upper management.Driving and monitoring quotations activity until order receipt.Sales forecasts of order book.Marketing existing and new products that the organisation feels is appropriate for the local market.Ensuring operational activities are completed safely and accurately.The role will require domestic travel to support sales, marketing & project delivery activities as well as some minimal international travel to headquarters for periodic performance reviews or product training and updates.This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Business Development, Sales Management, Project Management, or Estimator within the fire protection industry, who are looking to take the next step in their career.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the fire industry and a strong desire to grow into a leadership position.Our ideal candidate will have:Thorough understanding of the fire protection industry and fire protection products and their applications.Confidence to talk and present technically and commercially to customers, consultants, and end users on our product range.The ability to work autonomously and enjoy working as part of a team, with the ability to lead staff to achieve company objectives.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Sound computer skills.High level of verbal and written communication skills.Current QLD driver's licence.What are we offering you?Be a part of making something big!
