While an ability to relate to our existing and potential customers is important, a drive for perfection every day is essential.ResponsibilitiesOversee a 24-hour operation, running 5.5 days a week with your team.Manage the daily processing of 9 semis and coordination of 14 local vehicles for deliveries and pickups across Newcastle, the Central Coast, and the Hunter Valley.Maintain strong relationships with customers, expanding on revenue opportunities.Lead a team of 20 company staff and manage a subcontractor fleet, ensuring freight gets where it needs to be, on time, intact, and accurately.Actively lead and engage with your teams to uphold and exceed our rigorous standards.This role demands hands-on management on the ground, not just from behind a desk.Deliver the greatest value as the highest-paid person in the branch.You may not come from a transport background, but you will come from a business that uses express carriers and you'll know what excellence in this industry should look like.
