Regional Manager - Newcastle and Hunter ValleyDouglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice, offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology across NSW and north-west Victoria.

We seek an ambitious and proactive Regional Manager to oversee the Newcastle & Hunter Valley's pathology service.
Reporting to the Chief Branch Operations Officer, you will be based in the Newcastle area, and your responsibilities will include the following:
Leading the operations and strategies of the laboratories, collection centres, couriers, and client liaison of the Newcastle & Hunter Valley to ensure smooth delivery of pathology service across the region.Communicate the status of the Newcastle & Hunter Valley region to the executive team and other regional managers through regular attendance of work events and preparation of reports.Promote a positive work culture and unify the area by regularly visiting all the regional offices and collection centres.We are looking for the following:
Formal qualifications in Medical Science and a minimum of five years of experience managing people in a healthcare/pathology capacity.Highly knowledgeable in laboratory methodologies (automated and manual) and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.Excellent people management skills and superb negotiation abilities to influence key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.Open to frequent travel to Sydney and other locations across NSW.Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities without compromising quality.ApplicationsApplications, including your resume, should be emailed to the Human Resources Department at quoting reference (R24055) in the subject line of your email by 6 September 2024.
