About the Role
The Regional Manager, Home and Living Support will lead theirteam of Disability Support Workers to support the provision of ahigh level of customer service to our clients and their familieswith a focus on supporting the management ofcoordination ofsupports, community access and psychosocial services across theLimestone Coast. Current services exist in Mt Gambier, Millicentand Penola with a desire to grow the services further.
As Regional Manager you will have outstanding interpersonalskills to manage organisational issues, negotiate individualservice agreements and outcomes and develop and motivate staff. TheRegional Manager will be required to understand and implementeffective staff management and build positive relationships withfamilies in addition to managing and influencing change. You willalso ensure a high level of quality, achievements of standards,legislative requirements, service provisions, staffing andfinancial management within areas of responsibility.
The Regional Manager accountabilities will be split 80%management/supervision and 20% rostered working directly withclients and alongside staff in clients' homes in asupernumerary capacity.

Provide sound leadership, coaching and direction to directreports in operational, performance, administrative anddisability industry matters, role modelling of Minda'sValues aligned with Minda's Purpose Develop and maintain an appropriate program forprofessional development, staff training and education forongoing development of the team consistent with individual andteam plans as established via the Performance ManagementFramework. In conjunction with Human Resources conduct and resolve allformal performance management issues Oversee the recruitment, induction, training andsupervision of employees and any site volunteers/placementstudents Establish measurable outcomes that improve the quality oflife for clients and document accordingly Undertake regular reviews and audits of delivery ofservices identifying service gaps, and assessing potentialsolutions for continuous improvement in conjunction with SeniorManager, Client Services Work alongside Client Service Unit to support withOnboarding of clients within your cluster. Communicate with families as per individual agreements Ensure all concerns and issues raised by staff, clients andor families are fairly and appropriately investigated and aplan for resolution, including time frames, is clearlydocumented Please review the position description for a completeoverview of the position Skills and Qualifications Required
Completion of Tertiary studies in Disability or similardiscipline Working with Children Clearance and Child Safe Environmentstraining NDIS Worker Orientation Module Current Driver's Licence Unrestricted Working Rights Relevant industry and/ or management experience.
