Regional Manager - Newcastle and Hunter Valley Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is a leading pathology practice in NSW and north-west Victoria, renowned for its comprehensive and high-quality pathology services. Our practice is managed by doctors for doctors, ensuring the highest standards of professional and operational excellence for our medical professionals and patients.

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Regional Manager to oversee the Newcastle & Hunter Valley's pathology service. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading the operations and strategies of our laboratories, collection centres, couriers, and client liaison in the region.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the operations and strategies of the laboratories, collection centres, couriers, and client liaison to ensure smooth delivery of pathology service across the region. Communicate the status of the Newcastle & Hunter Valley region to the executive team and other regional managers through regular updates and reports. Promote a positive work culture and unify the area by regularly visiting all regional offices and collection centres. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with:

Formal qualifications in Medical Science and a minimum of five years of experience managing people in a healthcare/pathology capacity. Expertise in laboratory methodologies (automated and manual) and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. Excellent people management skills and superb negotiation abilities to influence key stakeholders and achieve desired outcomes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities without compromising quality.
