What you will do  Reporting to the Fleet National Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by management and reviewing of operational compliance of transport providers. Take responsibility & ownership for your state, and support your teams with the day-to-day management of Woolworths Online deliveries. As part of the Last Mile team, support with the last leg of customer deliveries, while driving innovation and simpler solutions for our team and customers. Responsibilities include:
Support and/or lead with state operational teams and our Third Party Logistics carriers to manage capacity and volume across stores and make recommendations for future planning (including seasonal)Management of Third Party Logistics (3PL) carriers to ensure contract compliance, accountability and best customer experienceEnsure that 3PL carriers are operating in a safe manner and promote a safe work environmentSupport with network optimisation and delivery mapping profiles to address concerns with on-time delivery, drop cost and capacity fluctuationsReview and improve delivery KPI's within your direct control and influence in conjunction with store and state operational teamsBe a customer advocate - analyse the operation of the business to ensure that the customer is receiving best in class service. Ensure customer feedback is addressed and complete escalations where required.  What you'll bring  As an independent and autonomous self-starter, you will have the ability to find the root cause of problems through management and data-driven exercises, and create and implement a plan of action. Support Queensland, Sout Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia, and work closely with our 3PLs to provide goods to our customers. Provide leadership and guidance to our team, and work with multiple stakeholders both in-store and senior management, as well as our vendors and carriers.

Eager to take ownership of their state and role, and work within the Last Mile team to support in future-proofing Last Mile deliveriesStrong leadership skills, with a focus on team developmentExceptional communication & stakeholder skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly to deliver operational KPI'sThe ability to manage external providers to deliver strong performance outcomesFlexible working hours - including a rotating weekend and/or evening on call rosterPlease note that aligned to our stores and CFCs operating evenings and weekends, there may be times you are required to work outside of standard hours in a support capacity.
