Topics such asVisible Leadership, Fundamental Risk Management, Training, EnvironmentalManagement and QA events as well as Hazard and Incident lead and lag indicatordata compilation and reporting will make up the responsibilities of this role.Key Activities:Visible Leadership – Coaching and mentoring of leaders in the fieldElimination of Serious Injuries - Elimination of serious injuries by promoting safety, implementing a system for accountability and championing training and skillsEnsure Legislative Compliance and advise on OH&S and Environmental legislation Lead by example - by modelling compliance to all company policies, directives, work methods, relevant laws and ensure staff complianceDevelop, deliver and schedule training programmesManagement of Insurance and reduction of risk/loss (Workers Compensation, Vehicles and Public LiabilitySafety Planning and safety program developmentSafety Leadership - Lead and promote safety at all levels within the Region and represent the Region within the National Risk TeamWhat you need to be successful:Degree in OH&S or associated qualifications5 years' experience in OH&SStrong people leadership skillsTraining and Auditing qualifications and experienceSelf-Insurance ExperienceWorkplace Rehabilitation qualifications and experienceConcrete industry experience (preferred)Quarrying/Mining experience (preferred)Heavy Industry experience
