Northern Territory PHN leads the development and coordination of an equitable, comprehensive primary health care system and an engaged health workforce driven by community needs.
Salary: $130,825 - $145,075
Location: Darwin or Alice Springs
About the Opportunity The Regional Health Partnerships Manager provides strong and effective management and leadership in place-based commissioning of primary health services and programs that are responsive to local and regional needs. This role leads a team that supports a coordinated and effective contract management in a partnership approach with commissioned providers and key stakeholders to support delivery of high performing and responsive services that improve health outcomes for the population.
This role is responsible for the oversight of all commissioned programs in the Northern Territory and accountable to the Executive Manager in all matters regarding contract management and provider performance.
If you have the following skills and experience, we'd love to chat: Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant postgraduate qualification (or working towards) and/or extensive leadership experience in the primary health care sector or other related health management fieldExcellent relationship, contract management and partnership development skills especially working with rural and remote communities, across multiple locations and diverse stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural and political sensitivity.Excellent communication, engagement, and conflict management skills in a leadership capacityProven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups, with a demonstrated ability to influence, inform and guide others in achieving shared outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated experience in leading and guiding change management in complex and dynamic settingsDemonstrated experience leading and managing a high performing team across multiple projects and/or locations.Demonstrated experience in leading a CQI approach across systems and programs.Experience working closely with the primary health care sector in the Northern TerritoryExperienced in effective Project ManagementExperience in performance monitoring and/or evaluationWhat's in it for You?
