An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to join Pel-Air as a full-time B1 Technical Support Engineer.
This position can be based at Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Ballarat or Melbourne.
Description of Position Duties Provide technical support to Engineering and Flight Operations for the Aircraft Fleet. (PC24, B300/200, Piper and Cessna) Assist with pro-actively managing deferred maintenance on a daily basis for the Aircraft Fleet. Review and monitor aircraft maintenance actions. Assist with control and coordination of aircraft breakdown and delays. Control and coordination of Technical Support projects as assigned by the CAM or GM Engineering. Perform other CAMO duties as required. Participate as a Duty Technical Support Engineer when rostered. Key Selection Criteria Proven self-starter with a flexible attitude. A demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility, including understanding and putting into action the company ethos. Experience in General Aviation, Aeromedical Operations and Flying Schools, Airline Operations an advantage. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with Turbo Prop, piston engine and Business Jet aircraft, and a willingness to be actively involved in the support of such aircraft. Preference will be given to applicants with experience on Rex Group aircraft. A good understanding of aircraft systems and troubleshooting principles. Understanding of the hierarchy of technical documents and approved data and the ability to analyse and assess this documentation. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects. Basic computer skills, working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Conditions: Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful candidate.
