Engineering Lead AuditorAn exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly experienced individual to join the Rex Group Engineering team as the Lead Auditor. This position is full-time and based at Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane.Reporting :This position reports to the Group Engineering Quality Manager / Safety Manager.Position Role and Responsibilities :Preparing checklists for use in both internal and external auditsConducting internal audits of the CAMO, AMO and CAR 30 operationsActing as lead auditor or assisting during auditsConducting external audits of subcontractors to assess the suitability of subcontractors to perform contracted tasksCompiling audit reportsLiaising with external authorities during third party audits as requiredInvestigating safety related engineering events and distributing the report as requiredManaging open engineering findingsMonitoring the receipt of and the following up of engineering RCA responses within the time frame identified on the RCAPerforming tasks as directed by the Quality Manager / Safety Manager.Essential Selection Criteria :Possess an Engineering background, preferably in the aviation industry, with practical experience as an AME / LAME or hold a Cert IVHold a formal qualification in quality management or a minimum of 5 years' experience in quality management activitiesCandidates will require a good working knowledge of the following regulations :CAR 30 (1988)CAR 42 (1988)Part 42 (1998) Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO)Part 145 (1998) Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMO)Part 147 (1998) Maintenance Training OrganisationsPart 66 LicensingPossess comprehensive knowledge of engineering procedures and practices and have good working knowledge of the CASA regulations, standards and documentsPrevious investigation and auditing experienceAdvanced communication and report writing skillsHave successfully completed a recognised Lead Auditor's courseExcellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlinesSalary and Conditions : Salary will be discussed with the successful applicant.To Apply :Please apply via the 'Apply Now' button below.#J-18808-Ljbffr
