Primary Objective: This position provides a critical role in the management of road networks, aerodromes, barge landings and other transport assets across the Big Rivers Region. This role is key to the Transport and Civil Services Division and reports directly to the General Manager Transport and Civil Services, with a regional report also to the Executive Director Northern Region. The position is responsible for delivering strategic works programs across the region as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The position oversees the leadership of the regional civil repairs and maintenance and capital works team, including during emergency response and recovery periods.
