With our head office located in Sydney, you will be an integral part of our journey during the start-up phase of establishing our presence in Brisbane._______________________________________________________________________________________MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAs the face of Market Lane Insurance Group, you will be responsible to maintain and develop relationships with new and existing broker partners, including associations and cluster / umbrella groups.With our focus on specialty Commercial Property and Liability, you will actively promote our range of innovative insurance products to our national partners, via face-to-face meetings, webinars, PD days, industry expos and group conferences whilst facilitating strategic key partnership opportunities.Your role will also be an integral part of our market engagement, you will be responsible to assist with the ongoing marketing & events and support the introduction of new products into market.In summary, primary duties will include, but may not be limited to:Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Identify new business opportunitiesCollaborate and work closely with underwriters across all brandsPromote brand and marketing initiativesAnalyse market trends, competitor activities, and partner needsTrack broker performance, evaluate success against goals, and implement improvements as needed.Ensure market intel is feedback internally to all relevant partiesAdhoc tasks as requiredDeveloping and implementing strategies to expand the company's market presence and increase opportunities in the region.Overseeing and supporting the team in the regionAssisting Partnerships & Engagement team on developing marketing and related engagement initiatives to promote new products or servicesStrong knowledge and understanding of the Queensland Insurance MarketHighly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills with the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally with our community and industry partners, with success in brining individuals and teams together to achieve a common goalGeneral insurance and regulatory knowledgeIntermediate/Advanced desktop abilities (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to travel intrastate and interstateAbility to communicate at all levels, both internally and externallyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong team approachGood work ethic, maturity and willingness to take on responsibilityDecision makerAdaptableHow do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Are you available to travel for this role when required?
