With our head office located in Sydney, you will be an integral part of our journey during the start-up phase of establishing our presence in Brisbane.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAs the face of Market Lane Insurance Group, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing broker partners, including associations and cluster/umbrella groups.With our focus on specialty Commercial Property and Liability, you will actively promote our range of innovative insurance products to our national partners via face-to-face meetings, webinars, PD days, industry expos, and group conferences while facilitating strategic key partnership opportunities.Your role will also be an integral part of our market engagement, assisting with ongoing marketing & events and supporting the introduction of new products into the market.In summary, primary duties will include:Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Identify new business opportunities.Collaborate and work closely with underwriters across all brands.Promote brand and marketing initiatives.Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and partner needs.Track broker performance, evaluate success against goals, and implement improvements as needed.Ensure market intel is fed back internally to all relevant parties.Adhoc tasks as required.Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence and increase opportunities in the region.Oversee and support the team in the region.Assist Partnerships & Engagement team in developing marketing and related engagement initiatives to promote new products or services.Strong knowledge and understanding of the Queensland Insurance Market.Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally.General insurance and regulatory knowledge.Intermediate/Advanced desktop abilities (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to travel intrastate and interstate.Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong team approach.Good work ethic, maturity, and willingness to take on responsibility.Decision maker.Adaptable.
