Our customers come from diverse backgrounds and we want our teams to reflect this.As Stockland Halcyon communities continue to grow and expand in Victoria, we are looking for a Regional Community Manager to join the Stockland Halcyon Victoria based team, in this newly created role and be part of our fantastic over-50's lifestyle living communities' business.About the roleResponsible for communities in and around Melbourne, and as far down as Geelong, you will be contributing to the success of this growing team and will oversee the operations of multiple Halcyon communities, fostering, and developing positive relationships with all stakeholders in alignment with Halcyon's mission, vision, and values.The Victorian Stockland Halcyon business is in a rapid period of growth, with one community reaching stabilisation and another four projects in development. It's an exciting time to join this fast-growing portfolio as we build out the Victorian operating platform and welcome our first sets of homeowners into these communities.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Manage community operations in compliance with Community Living Guidelines, Park Rules, and Halcyon policies, procedures, and processes.Work closely with Community Managers to set up the Victorian operating platform, manage stakeholder expectations, to understand homeowner lifestyle needs and desires and to satisfactorily resolve concerns.Monitor external party agreements and contracts to ensure best service and financial outcomes for Halcyon.Build, maintain and grow positive and respectful relationships with homeowners.Work collaboratively with all contractors and service providers.Manage all recruitment needs for Community Managers and Community Administrators and aid in recruitment of Facility Caretakers.Build meaningful relationships with external and local stakeholders (ie: sales functions, local business).Manage and implement continuous improvement with respect to homeowner delight programs.Work with the Community Teams to drive initiatives that create community dynamics, and that support a positive and enduring relationship between homeowners and Halcyon.Assist Project Directors during new community ramp-up by providing advice, training, operational alignment and support to the Community Manager, Facility Caretaker and homeowners, as required.Provide mentorship, motivation and training to community employees.About youWe are looking for a passionate and empathetic people-person, with both stakeholder relationship and people management skills.Experience from a background such as over 50's community, Retirement Living, Hotel/Resort or Community Services industry or similar with an operational focus will be highly regarded.People leader with proven experience in developing, mentoring and managing people.You are community minded, and service orientated, with a can-do and hands-on approach.Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Exposure and knowledge in financial and budget management and report preparation.Proficient computer literacy including use of MS Office Suite and if you have knowledge of Anaplan, Salesforce or SAP but not essential.Tertiary qualification in business management, community services or similar is desirable.Knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be beneficial.The Stockland PropositionStockland Halcyon is Australia's most awarded creator of lifestyle living communities across Southeast Queensland, Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
