This is a full-time fixed-term position through to December 2025 with salary in the range $96,649 - $105,244.58, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

About This Opportunity The Regional Community Engagement Senior Coordinator will bring a deep passion for broadening access and participation in higher education for people living in regional communities. The role will build sustainable relationships with regional local organisations, government and non-government departments and deliver widening participation activities in the community. The aim of these relationships is to create awareness and understanding of pathways to higher education. The role is part of a wider team and will contribute to planning, delivery, evidence-based reporting and communicating impact.
The role will identify and create opportunities and initiatives to engage students and their families in the local community. In addition, the Senior coordinator will assist in the development of a strategy and protocol for working collaboratively with these stakeholders. 
Key responsibilities will include: 
Develop and oversee regional outreach strategy and engagement programs.
Collaborate with community, government, and non-government stakeholders to broaden access to higher education.
Represent UQ on advisory committees and partner with regional study hubs to support student success.
Evaluate and improve effectiveness of regional engagement programs, coordinate community visits, and provide leadership to staff and Gatton based casual student ambassadors program.
Duties in relation to the program as reasonably directed by your supervisor.
About You Degree or diploma in relevant field with at least four years of related experience or equivalent combination.
Proven ability to develop and maintain community relationships.
Experience in program management with a focus on co-creation, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Track record of project evaluation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and organizational abilities.
Possession of an unrestricted driver's license and Blue Card.
You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
