St John Ambulance Tasmania have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Business Development Manager in Launceston.

St John Ambulance Tasmania is a trusted charity working to save lives through education, training, first aid supplies and solutions, community support, patient transport and care events.
We are a self-funded charitable organisation dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering or danger.
We are purpose driven and have been making the Tasmanian community safer through first aid for over one hundred years.
As we position ourselves to grow our business we are investing in the North of the State across our retail operations with a focus on securing new business for St John Ambulance Tasmania and supporting future business growth.
About the role:
The Regional Business Development Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will work collaboratively as part of a state-wide team, supporting business growth and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The role is instrumental in identifying revenue growth strategies, ensuring budgeted profitability, and providing contemporary people leadership across the region.
It plays a crucial role in advancing the mission and objectives of St John Tasmania through strengthening our client base, nurturing relationships with existing clients and bringing on board new ones, by managing and leading operation teams and a number of key revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales growth:
Identify and pursue opportunities for growth.
Work closely with and support the state-wide team to secure new business and enhance existing client relationships.
Customer relationships:
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders in relevant industries and markets, and with existing customers, providing quality service and advice to clients/customers, promoting St John in the community.
Product knowledge:
Cultivate a detailed understanding of our business' products and value proposition, local and international industry trends.
Leadership:
Oversee daily operations and ensure reporting requirements are met.
Collaborate with retail teams to ensure business development strategies are implemented.
About you:
Your communication skills are excellent.
You are customer-focused, quality-driven, high-performing, safety-conscious, agile, collaborative, and growth-oriented.
You enjoy seeking out new products and opportunities, analysing customer requirements and are confident in approaching new customers and finding new pathways.
You know how to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and are team focussed.
Ideally you have experience in the health and retail sectors.
