Regional Biosecurity Lead South

We are looking for a Regional Biosecurity Lead South to join our Biosecurity Queensland team. As our Regional Biosecurity Lead South, you will be responsible for driving high-level strategic advice & engagement activities for Biosecurity Queensland.
You will know you're achieving success in the role when you: Are dedicated to successfully & strategically engaging with local governments, industry, and the regional communities to support Biosecurity initiatives.Effectively advocate for Biosecurity Queensland's interests, provide advice & counsel to the Minister, Director-General, and Chief Biosecurity Officer on Biosecurity matters.Are actively contributing & leading a high-performing regionally dispersed team.Manage, lead & champion high-level Biosecurity initiatives throughout the relevant regions.Establish a stronger ongoing regional presence for Biosecurity Queensland through the establishment of regional hubs.Biosecurity Queensland plays a vital role in securing the state's agricultural prosperity and preserving and protecting the health of our environment and economy.
