Regional accountability for assessed cost, claims management and customer outcomesNewly created opportunity within our Shannons Customer Claims structureBrisbane, Sydney or Melbourne locationAbout the role The Shannons Regional Assessing Manager is responsible for driving exceptional customer and claims outcomes for Shannons Specialist Assessing across the designated region by engaging, empowering and leading a team of Specialist Assessors to operationalise the Shannons assessing strategy.
The role is responsible for defining and executing the relevant assessing strategy (predominantly managing motor claims at non-recommended repairers).
What you'll do Regional accountability for assessed cost, claims management and customer outcomes across the Shannons portfolio for the relevant group of work (motor claims at predominantly non-recommended repairers)Leadership of a diverse workforce to achieve results through geographic dispersion across the regionExecute the Shannons Assessing strategy to deliver optimal claims outcomes by leveraging and operationalising investments in people, data, digital and technology.Contribute to the development of the operational goals and budget plans for the Shannons motor claims portfolioDrive the financial and operational success of the department through the management and improvement of operating costs, claims handling expenses, life of claim measures and Assessor productivityExecute change management and communications to deliver on the Motor Claims Strategy and Program of WorkWhat you'll bring At least 10+ years commercial experience in insurance or financial services, ideally with exposure across all parts of the claims value chainDrivers licence (mandatory)Deep knowledge of Motor claims, Assessing and the Smash repair industryIf this opportunity sounds like the challenge you have been looking for please apply online today.
