A job to be proud of: St John WA is currently recruiting a Regional Administration Coordinator to join the Geraldton Regional Office on a permanent full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate administrative support functions providing essential administration support to the network of Sub centres across the Midwest Region. The standard hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Being able to work evenings and weekends and stay overnight in locations across Midwest Region from time to time may be required. What you will do : Coordinate administrative support functions across the Midwest Region, working with a team of paid full & part time administration officers and volunteer committees. Contributing to the development of administrative systems, processes, and procedures to continuously improve our practices. Coordinate and support staff and volunteer recruitment and retention activities across the region Coordination of regional functions, regular team meetings and training sessions Promote and support volunteer retention Assist with rostering of non- emergency transport crews in the region Ensure Sub centre maintenance programs and safety reporting is completed regularly Involves some regional travel/stay as required. What you will need: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Previous experience in an administration or coordination role Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team Effective time management and a keen interest in process improvement Demonstrated intermediate/high level skills in Microsoft Office suites Diplomacy and a strong community spirit Skills in using Digital/social media as a communication channel, or a willingness to be a quick learner A current Driver's License What's in it for you?
