As our newest Refunds Officer, you will play a crucial role in our customers' experience; in the event customers cannot travel, we provide a refund or credit in a timely manner to ensure they remain Flight Centre customers for life.
Primary Accountabilities & Objectives
Ensure funds have been received from the supplier
Manage exceptions and errors for rejected refunds
Upload refund payments to centralized payment platforms
Review, approve, and process customer refunds and credits
Review and audit refunds owed to customers to ensure accuracy and validity
Communicate with consultants, respond to queries and assist with troubleshooting
Maintain and update system information
Attend and contribute to team meetings
Provide support and guidance to other team members
Ad-hoc projects as required
Skills & Capabilities
High level of ownership
High degree of professionalism
Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer knowledge (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel)
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience working in a similar role or role requiring structured process flows and financial management
