We currently have a vacancy for a highly skilled, experienced, and safety-focused Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria.
Responsibilities:Daily plant freezer and cool room temperature checksMaintenance request breakdowns, diagnosis, and repairsPreventative maintenance on plant and equipmentServices on local dairy farms and associated refrigeration equipmentWorking with various departments and areas onsiteQuick response to breakdowns with the ability to prioritize tasksBe part of a rotating on-call roster and be prepared to work overtimeExperiences:You must be a qualified Refrigeration Technician and hold relevant licenses (Arctic license, restricted licenses)Experience in refrigeration systems freon as well as secondary coolantsGood computer skills with experience using SCADA advantageousMust have the right to work in AustraliaYou must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if requiredYou have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination processWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive remuneration – salary up to $135,000 pa + superSecure employmentExceptional career developmentEmployee rewards programEmployee assistance programAs a family-owned company, The Midfield Group values the importance of work-life balance and strives to create an environment that supports both.
