We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.We currently have a vacancy for a highly skilled, experienced, and safety-focused Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily plant freezer and cool room temperature checksMaintenance request breakdowns, diagnosis and repairsPreventative maintenance on plant and equipmentServices on local dairy farms and associated refrigeration equipmentWorking with various departments and areas onsiteQuick response to breakdowns with the ability to prioritise tasksBe part of a rotating on-call roster and prepared to work overtimeSKILLS & EXPERIENCES:You must be a qualified Refrigeration Technician and hold relevant licences (ARCtick licence, restricted licences)Experience in refrigeration systems freon as well as secondary coolantsGood computer skills with experience using SCADA advantageousMust have the right to work in AustraliaYou must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if requiredYou have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination processWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive remuneration - salary up to $135,000 pa + superExceptional career developmentEmployee rewards programEmployee assistance programAs a family-owned company, The Midfield Group values the importance of work-life balance and strive to create an environment that supports both.
