We are seeking a highly skilled

Refrigeration Supervisor

to oversee our refrigeration systems and ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and train a team of refrigeration technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and operational standards

Oversee the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems

Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of refrigeration equipment

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to refrigeration, including environmental guidelines and safety standards

Manage inventory of refrigeration parts and supplies

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance

Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for refrigeration operations

Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions to operations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial

Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly

Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in refrigeration

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in refrigeration systems

Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608, HVAC/R certification) preferred

Experienced in two stage ammonia systems (highly regarded)

Ammonia Refrigeration Operators Course Certified (highly regarded)
