Position Details As we continue our transformation and growth journey in Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer with strong IT, scheduling, and training expertise to lead the development and implementation of a Process Hazard Assessment (PHA) program across our network of cold storage warehousing facilities. This critical role will assume accountability for running the PHA program across 18 Industrial Ammonia plants within the Lineage AU network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of the PHA program in line with the organization's strategic priorities. Please note, we are open to engaging someone on a fixed-term contractual basis if that more suits your situation. Key Responsibilities: Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Audits: Conduct comprehensive PHA audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards. Document findings and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks. Program Administration and Documentation: Oversee the administration and documentation of the PHA program, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Coordinate and document meetings, decisions, notifications, and communications related to the program. Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Policy Development: Develop and review Preventative Maintenance Policies, allocating them to assets using MEX Management software. Audit Preventative Maintenance PHA Work Orders to ensure compliance with established procedures. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on the progress of the PHA program to senior leadership, highlighting successes and identifying potential risks. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs related to emergency response, engineering procedures, and PHA processes. Manage the Ammonia Leak Register and ensure all incidents are properly recorded and addressed. Your Experience: Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably within the industrial refrigeration or petrochemical industries. Relevant qualifications in engineering or compliance are desirable but not essential. Proven ability to plan and lead teams to deliver sustainable project outcomes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously. Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Experience in developing and implementing training programs and managing IT systems related to process hazard assessments. Why Join Us?
