Provide a quality refrigeration and air conditioning trade service to the clients of the Engineering Department.
Perform planned and corrective maintenance, repairs and minor works to refrigeration and air conditioning plant and equipment, as directed and prioritised by the Trade Manager or other duly authorised persons, including on the following types of equipment.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and adhere to the Queensland Public Service Code of Conduct, and Queensland Health and Engineering Department Policy and Procedures. Advise the Trade Manager of any problems which may prevent the work allocated from being carried out efficiently or as originally directed. Maintain a demeanour, dress and professionalism that will enhance the image and morale of the Engineering Department in particular, and TPCH as a whole. Provide quality technical skills and knowledge to ensure all work is completed in a timely and cost effective manner. Determine trade budgets and cost estimates for minor and major new projects and for replacement equipment and maintenance.
