```html The Role BGIS has been successful in securing a Maintenance contract for a major retail chain and is now seeking Refrigeration / HVAC + R Technicians.
This role is based in Canberra, ACT.
Responsibilities include: Assemble, install, test, and maintain heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
Perform maintenance work on cooling units such as cool rooms, freezers, condensers, evaporators, etc.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
Inspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems as required.
Inspect and maintain the BMS.
