Your service development and leadership skills will drive a culture of best practice, innovation and continuous improvement to ensure that persons living with their dementia and their carers receive a high quality respite experience and are supported to live their best lives.This is a part time role (0.8) offering flexible working arrangements and work from home. You will be required to travel between Albany, Busselton and Perth. Together as a team we help people feel loved, valued, and respected.Essential qualifications and experience:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care/Dementia Practice or equivalent qualification, knowledge and experienceExperience providing support to, and advice about dementia to people living with dementia, their family and carersExperience with service development and planningExperience with staff supervision and supportExperience delivering client and staff educationCurrent first aid certificate or willingness to obtainEssential competencies:Comprehensive knowledge of dementia and its impact on individuals, families, and carersDemonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required softwareHigh level communication skillsProven high level organisational abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesAccuracy and attention to detailDemonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at workDesirable qualifications, competencies and experiences:Experience working in a community setting.Other Pre-Requisites:Registered vehicle with minimum of Third Party InsuranceCurrent unrestricted drivers licenceWillingness to travel with overnight staysAbout Us:BaptistCare support thousands of people across locations in WA, NSW and the ACT.
