The Information Technology & Digital Services (ITDS) team is critical to this mission, enabling success through innovative technology and strategic solutions. As part of this team, the Integration Project Portfolio leads transformative initiatives to ensure seamless integration of systems that support our teaching, research, and operational objectives.
The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and visionary Integration Architect to join our team and lead the development of integration strategies, frameworks, and technologies that empower the University's future growth and innovation. This position involves developing and promoting advanced integration solutions, collaborating across departments to align systems with strategic goals, and leading the implementation of best practices. The role is key to ensuring that integration efforts reduce reliance on bespoke approaches, drive efficiencies, and enable innovation across the organisation.
You will also guide and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring their development and alignment with the University's vision.
About You The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications or equivalent extensive experience in integration architecture using recognised frameworks. Proven leadership in IT services within large, complex organisations is essential, as is expertise in integration technologies, methodologies, and corporate information policies. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a history of negotiating strategic outcomes, and the ability to deliver customer-focused solutions. Practical knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and IT Service Management frameworks like ITIL will also be critical.
