Casual Professional Eligibility List - Casual Administration Officer  Attractive Casual Pay Rates Western's Hawkesbury Campus About the Casual Eligibility List The Casual Eligibility List is open for eligible candidates to register an Expression of Interest (EoI) for casual employment opportunities with the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment.
The eligibility list enables the Institute to access suitable and experienced individuals for casual employment opportunities across a broad range of business areas at short notice, subject to the following: You will be engaged as and when required, and on an ad hoc and/or intermittent basis.

About the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment (HIE) HIE is a research institute within Western Sydney University.
The Institute conducts fundamental and applied research in ecology, physiology, genetics and global change biology.

The Opportunity  The Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment are seeking a talented and motivated administration officer to join the team on a casual ad hoc basis.
With a wide range of expertise and transferable skill sets you will work collaboratively with the team to achieve to provide support and deliver exceptional results.
Duties may include: Collaborating with the Senior Administration Officer (Finance Operations) to provide assistance with finance tasks within the Institute, providing exceptional service and advice to staff and students.
Undertaking preliminary reviews of TEMS expense claims and corporate credit card acquittals Setting up TEMS profiles for new staff, students and visitors to the Institute.
Conducting regular stock take of stationery items and re-ordering to basic retainment numbers.
Processing approved stationery items on Institute Stationery forms Eligibility To be eligible for casual employment, applicants must have: Experience with Western's Finance Systems.
Knowledge of Western's policies and procedures.
Knowledge and experience with the TEMS system (Travel and Expense management System) including how to navigate.
Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to manage competing priorities whilst delivering a very high standard of work.
