Remuneration Package: $121,056 to $130,572 p.a.
Full-Time, Fixed-Term 12 months, Parramatta South Full-Time, Fixed-Term 12 months Parramatta South Campus This is an identified position and applicants must be an Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander person.

About the Role As the Senior Executive Assistant to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Leadership (DVCIL), you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level executive and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
You will be responsible for managing complex schedules, handling sensitive and confidential communications, and overseeing key projects within the Division.
You will liaise with a range of stakeholders, including Elders, Indigenous community members, and internal and external partners, while also coordinating events, travel, and high-level meetings.
In this pivotal role, you will not only support the Deputy Vice-Chancellor but also play a key part in coordinating workflow across the Division, ensuring that critical operational activities are prioritised and deadlines are met.
Key Duties Manage the DVCIL's diary, emails, and meeting schedules, ensuring all commitments are met.
Prepare briefing notes, meeting papers, and routine/non-routine correspondence for the DVCIL.
Provide committee support, including organising meetings, minute taking, and follow-ups on action items.
Handle all travel arrangements, both domestic and international, for the DVCIL.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role, ensuring discretion and professionalism at all times.
Facilitate communication between the Division and key stakeholders, ensuring the flow of information.
Coordinate reports, papers, and other documentation as required.
Assist in the planning and organisation of Division events, including the NAIDOC Gala Dinner and other high-profile initiatives.
About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a high-volume, senior administrative support role.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
High-level written communication skills, with experience in preparing reports, briefing notes, and correspondence.
A proven ability to exercise discretion, diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
A high level of computer literacy, including experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
