About the School of Medicine The School of Medicine receives funding from the Department of Health under the Rural Clinical Training Scheme program to deliver clinical training in rural areas. The School has two Rural Clinical Schools located at Bathurst and Lismore, with a strong commitment to serving our communities and delivering upon workforce needs across our regions.
About the Role The Rural Clinical Schools program is designed to encourage medical students to take up a career in rural practice by enabling them to undertake extended clinical training placements in rural locations. The Lismore Rural Clinical School is seeking a Medical Educator to contribute to teaching, administration, and research in the School of Medicine. The Medical Educator will be committed to the education of future medical practitioners and will contribute to the discipline of Surgery locally and internationally.
This is a part-time (7 hours per week), fixed-term position until April 2025, based at the University Centre for Rural Health (UCRH), Lismore, New South Wales.
Remuneration Package (pro rata): Academic Level C $33,908 to $38,897 p.a. (comprising salary of $28,682 to $32,946 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
