Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. Location Hobart or Launceston Duties Undertake duties to drive the implementation and ongoing management of major initiatives and projects to implement the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse (Royal Commission) and the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings (Commission of Inquiry) recommendations. Undertake client engagement activities in a trauma informed way, including co-ordination of counselling and psychological care; co-ordination of the direct personal response component of the National Redress Scheme and the provision of apologies to victim-survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. Contribute to the development of high quality training on trauma informed organisational development to promote trauma informed principles in culture, practices, policies and procedures. Develop and contribute to positive outcomes across all levels of government and other organisations, particularly with reference to projects associated with the Royal Commission and Commission of Inquiry recommendations and associated service systems. Undertake the preparation and provision of high level reports, complex submissions, briefings and other correspondence for the Director and Assistant Director – Client Liaison regarding strategy, policy and other client related issues associated with the Royal Commission and the Commission of Inquiry recommendations implementation and the implications for whole of government policy and strategic directions. A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People. A degree of at least 3 years duration in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, psychiatric nursing or Counselling or equivalent as provided by a recognised university.
