About the Project
This is your opportunity to join the Redpath team at the world-class Lady Loretta Mine, approximately 140km North-West of Mt Isa, where Redpath is responsible for all facets of the mining operation. The Lady Loretta Operation has been set up using industry-leading technology, and Redpath has continued these standards with the mobilization of new equipment, emphasizing technology to support safe and efficient production outcomes.
The role involves
Working a 16 days on, 12 days off roster, 12hr shifts;
Developing short to medium-term mine plans for the underground operation, ensuring all key mining physicals are achieved in line with the principles of the quarterly mine plan;
Providing technical support and quality control of the works in accordance with the Contract Specification and the relevant Statutory Regulations;
Inspecting work at frequent intervals to ensure work quality meets stated objectives and the required environmental controls are in place;
Providing support with managing and prompting efficient corrective actions for non-conformance;
Carrying out engineering, temporary works design, organizing subcontract proposals, awarding, and supervising improvement projects and specific subcontracts as required by the project.
We are looking for
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining);
Previous experience in underground mining including development and production;
Proficient with Deswik CAD and Scheduler;
Sound knowledge of managing and implementing project developments;
Valid manual driver's license;
A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
