The RED OHMS Group is a leading specialist consultancy providing services and solutions in occupational hygiene, environment, hazmat, and training. We provide services to clients in various sectors across Australia, including oil and gas (onshore and offshore), mining, government, education, manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, industrial, and commercial.
Our solutions and services promote workplace safety and health to ensure people go home not just in the same health as they arrived in but possibly in better health.
We have a team of eight Certified Occupational Hygienists, three Certified Industrial Hygienists, and several SMEs for various occupational hygiene disciplines within a national team of approximately 100 team members.
The opportunity
Hygiene WA is our flagship service delivery team and services clients in mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and construction, health, and government to name a few! Our team of technicians and specialists work on a range of projects across WA.
Our business is growing! So, we are looking for Senior Hygiene Consultants to join our team in Perth.
While these are permanent full-time opportunities, we are open to working with preferred candidates to develop flexible working options that address individual needs as well as client project and service delivery requirements.

You are a proven professional with experience in the following:
Conducting health and hygiene risk assessments
Creating health and hygiene management plans
Experience and skills in the operation and execution of industry-related equipment e.g., for fibre, dust, weld fume, and volatile organic compound sampling
Conducting noise surveys and noise dosimetry
Project management skills – planning, preparing & executing hygiene monitoring programs
Experience in researching occupational hygiene issues and providing pragmatic solutions to our clients.
You will bring:
A postgraduate qualification relevant to Occupational Hygiene (other qualifications in science or a related discipline is desirable)
Full membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH) or equivalent international organisation.
Candidates with CIH and International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene (ICertOH) or equivalent international qualifications will be looked upon favourably.
High flexibility with working arrangements – site travel according to client requirements is essential
A willingness to learn and be mentored by COHs; and to guide and mentor technicians, junior consultants, and other hygienists
Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
Engagement and willingness to contribute to a dynamic team
