Red Dust Holdings (RDH) is a privately owned Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage, and Mining Services operation (est. in 2010) offering a range of civil and earthmoving solutions to an extensive client base throughout Regional Western Australia. We service all of regional WA with projects located in Midwest, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt, Pilbara, and Goldfields.
It is an exciting time to be joining RDH, with a busy year forecast for 2025. We are currently recruiting for supervisors to champion and lead our projects across various regional project locations. MRWA - Main Roads WA Detailed Projects Civil Bulk Earthworks Projects RDH projects range from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector, including tailings dams, airport construction, and major highway upgrades. RDH tenders projects in the range of $2m to $40m, with expansion into 2025 forecast to see this number grow.
2:1 rosters, FIFO ex Perth or DIDO arrangements for regional points of hire. (Flexible to discuss with applicant) Varied rosters can be available such as 10:4 for close surround projects outside of Geraldton. Full-time sustainable ongoing employment Hourly rate, paid for every hour worked Up to 12 hours days. Weekly payroll + superannuation paid on every hour worked JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Our Site Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring all site activities run smoothly, safely, and according to plan. Overall, you will champion our projects from planning and execution to quality control and safety compliance.
Manage the quality of the project and any plans, policies, and procedures related to the project Have input into project costs and program (schedule) to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget Manage the performance of staff and contractors in accordance with RDH policies and procedures Provide problem-solving skills and technical input within the scope of the project Contribute to the improvement of WHS and risk management practices within the scope of the project Liaise with Managers, Project Coordinators/Administrators Physically fit and able to work long hours SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES Minimum 3 years supervisory experience Minimum 5 years Civil Construction Experience Demonstrated success in supervising and leading civil teams with clear communication skills Ability to multitask and problem solve, managing multiple conflicting priorities Work closely and respectfully with the client representative You should have a full understanding of all safety, environment, and quality regulations, as well as being technologically capable, program savvy, and responsive to the administrative aspects of the job role Experience across either pavements, bulk & detailed earthworks, drainage, road works, and/or major infrastructure, mining services Competent and ticketed in operating various civil construction plant Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations Have a level of QA knowledge Daily reporting and pre-starts Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Satisfactory pre-employment medicals + drug & alcohol testing EDUCATION, LICENCES AND TRAINING Section 44 / Schedule 26 Current Driver's License (HR preferred) Construction industry Blue or White card WHY WORK FOR RED DUST HOLDINGS Positive rewarding work and safety culture Weekly payroll + superannuation on all hours worked Direct line to management A fast-paced but inclusive, involved, and supportive work environment Well maintained and late model equipment Genuine recognition within the company as a member of the team and not a number Simple and strong supporting office systems Access to our EAP - Employee Assistance Program We strive for quality work and appreciate our Employees who deliver it!
