Job Description As a 'Looper' at TOMRA, you will be working amongst a team of people, who are very passionate about doing good for the environment and our community. Our Recycling Centre Attendants are the champions for the Containers for Change Scheme and play an important role in ensuring that our customers return to our recycling centres time and time again. They achieve this by ensuring our customers have a great experience when visiting our centres by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the recycling centre is clean and tidy and ensuring our machines and sorting equipment are running as intended. Our Recycling Centre Attendants also play a large role in boosting the TOMRA brand and are the face of TOMRA here in Australia.
As a Recycling Centre Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our recycling depot. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Supervise and lead a small team providing ongoing mentoring, coaching, and supportEnsure maximum operational uptime and processing volumes through efficient management of operational teamResponsible for all depot WHS governance, practices and improvementsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholdersWork on the ground with team when work volume demands are highMaintain a professional and clean work environment for staff and customersTroubleshoot with Technician on RVM issuesCompliance with TOMRA SAFE Standards and GuidelinesQualifications The successful candidate will be someone who can contribute to the success of the business whilst seeking ongoing personal and professional development.
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar roleTertiary qualification in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred)Excellent computer skillsAbility to motivate and support employees through ongoing professional developmentCustomer focused and experienced with handling customer complaintsExcellent attention to detail and strong time management skillsA strong drive for personal achievement and successPrepared to undergo mandatory Police Check and a Pre-employment Medical assessment to assess capability to perform the role requirements safely.Additional Information Does this sound like you?!
