Job Description The Recycling Assistant manages daily waste operations, including separating and disposing of cardboard, plastic, foam, and general waste. Priorities include safety, quality, sustainability, and teamwork.
Sort plastic, cardboard, and foam waste. Maintain machinery and report issues to the Manager. Coordinate disposal collection and clean factory areas. Ensure safety protocols are followed and collaborate with the team. Perform ad hoc tasks as required. Alert the Manager when the cardboard auger is ¾ full or when 4+ pallets of plastic or foam are ready for collection. Operate specialised machinery. Qualifications LF ticket is essential for this position. Preferably experienced with appliances, furniture, or bulky items. Strong safety focus and keen attention to detail. Proficient in multitasking. Excellent team player with good communication skills. Possesses a proactive and can-do attitude. Additional Information Permanent full-time position.
