The defence market is undergoing a transitional period which has presented opportunity and challenges alike. We are looking to add to our experienced team in our head office in Sydney's CBD as we gear up for the opportunities the change will present.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a talent manager to help source engineering candidates for the wide array of projects that we support. This is a candidate specific role and the person will work with a mix of existing candidates as well as new ones from the many sourcing methods we have at our disposal.
The role will include:
Sourcing and connecting with Engineering professionals, specifically with defence backgrounds.Developing a network of ex ADF / Defence techniciansIdentifying opportunities to connect with Security cleared, technical candidates across engineeringDeveloping long-term relationshipsDeveloping a strong social presence SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NOT recruitment (necessarily) an ex defence professional would suit this roleExcellent communication skillsAbility to connect with a broad range of peopleAn outcome driven person who can work in a team as well as using their own initiativeExcellent communication skillsA go getting attitudeTRAINING We have a dedicated team who work to develop everyone's skills whether they come to us with recruitment experience or not. We work in a complex industry where we are constantly learning….including our management team!
