A little about the role As a Recruitment and Panel Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization.
You will be responsible for providing a flexible, effective, and strategically planned Foster Carer Recruitment and Panel Management service that aligns with statutory and agency requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Responsible for the foster care recruitment process from enquiry through to approval and onboarding for Key Assets Tasmania, in accordance with agency standardised processes Organise, plan and manage a recruitment strategy that meets individual needs of the area teams to meet placement targets set by the regional business plan. Ensuring compliance with statutory and agency requirements, including assessment, authorisation, and review processes. The base salary for this position is $104,988 - $109,629/annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.
This position is full-time, ongoing.
About you You will have substantial experience in a senior management role within the social and community services sector, with a strong track record of team development and growth.
You will also come with: Recognised social work qualification or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in family placements and/or children's services. A solid understanding of relevant child protection legislation and government initiatives in Tasmania. Knowledge of the role of other agencies, in particular Health and Education A strong understanding of recruitment and marketing strategies to attract and retain high-quality foster carers.
