This is a pivotal role ensuring a seamless transition for new employees to the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH).

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a keen eye for detail and strong administration and people skills, who enjoys working in a collaborative team, and is passionate about creating a positive first impression for our new employees.

The role is Full Time ongoing - hybrid working environment - work from home options.
The successful candidate must have full working rights.

Your Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the contract generation and onboarding process for new employees and honorary employees including preparing employment contracts and ensuring all compliance documentation is completed accurately.
Provide guidance and support to new hires throughout their onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including qualifications, annual registrations, and compliance documentation.
Assist in preparing and organising documents for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes with navigating various portals and websites including but not limited to the Fit2Work Police check system, Department of Justice working with children checks website, National Disability Insurance Scheme website, AHPRA registration check website, and the VEVO website.
Oversee and coordinate additional activities such as work experience programs, Melbourne Health Volunteers service, Graduate Intakes, and the annual Employee Length of Service Awards.
Build relationships with all hiring managers and key stakeholders to proactively evaluate the needs for the business.
Involvement with continuous improvement projects, training tools and system development Assist with other administrative duties within the recruitment team as required.
What You'll Bring Administrative Expertise : You're highly organized and thrive in managing high-volume workflows while meeting deadlines.
Customer Service Excellence : You build strong relationships and ensure new employees feel supported from day one.
Systems Experience : Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn HR systems / HRIS and payroll processes.
Experience with Success Factors / SAP desirable.
Proactive Problem-Solving : You take ownership of your tasks and anticipate needs.
Compliance Awareness : You're eager to learn and stay updated on relevant enterprise agreements and HR legislation.
