Full time, continuing opportunity availableA great opportunity to lead a team in developing and delivering a schools engagement program to attract future students to the University of SydneyBase Salary $108,557 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityWe are seeking an ambitious Student Recruitment Coordinator (Schools) to provide timely and effective services to our network of schools, while identifying new opportunities to build strong relationships.
With your service-oriented approach, you will work under the guidance of the Student Recruitment Manager to implement strategic programs and projects that support the recruitment of prospective students to the University of Sydney.Demonstrating your ability to engage and connect with others, you will represent the University at events, promoting its offerings and initiatives.In this dynamic and fast-paced role, your exceptional multi-tasking skills will be essential as you plan and deliver multiple events and outreach activities.The role also involves managing a portfolio of schools, with weekly visits to meet with Careers Advisors and engage with future students.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead a team of two Student Recruitment Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.Manage a portfolio of school relationships, as well as oversee the team's approach to relationship management with schools.Oversee all aspects of customer service and enquiry management for the team, ensuring high-quality service.Develop content for presentations, webinars, and workshops to showcase the University to prospective high school students.Use data, evaluation, and reporting to make informed decisions about the impact and opportunities of school activities.Coordinate the development and implementation of the Domestic Schools Engagement Program.Handle complex queries and provide guidance on university schemes and pathways.Coordinate large-scale strategic events for the Domestic Recruitment team, in partnership with the events team.About you Knowledge and experience in the education industry, with a background in either higher education or school-based roles.Proven leadership and managerial experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.Strong experience in supporting and coordinating multiple administration and event-based projects across a complex organisation.Expertise in delivering customer/client-focused strategies, particularly in implementing tactics to attract prospective students.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Proactive with a strong understanding of stakeholder priorities, ensuring a customer- and client-centric approach.Comfortable presenting to large audiences with confidence.A valid NSW driver's license and willingness to visit schools around Sydney on a weekly basis.Experience working effectively in a small team, contributing to a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
