IT Service Desk | 6 Month Contract $33.96 p/h + Super 6 Month Contract Newcastle Based About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and skilled ICT Service Desk Support professional to join our team.
This is a first-level technical resolution role for all reported ICT-related incidents, requiring close collaboration with various internal technology teams to deliver outstanding service.
Key accountabilities include: Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and provide technical support for ICT-related incidents.
Troubleshoot basic ICT hardware and software issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Utilize your problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer issues quickly.
Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders across different technology units to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and clear communication of technical information to customers.
Meet agreed timelines and service delivery expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
About You Proven experience in an operational service desk or contact centre environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills for basic ICT hardware and software.
Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system is preferred but not essential.
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.
A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes.
