Our client is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to bring his/her creative energy and calm leadership to a vibrant team.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes, oversee kitchen operations, and mentor the culinary team. This role requires a deep passion for food, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping the restaurant's menu for a discerning clientele, enhancing existing systems and processes, and fostering a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere focused on excellence and creativity.

Collaborate on every aspect of the kitchen operations with the Head Chef Provide leadership, training & mentorship for all kitchen staff Cultivate a supportive, motivating and enjoyable workplace Provide organization of kitchen prep, ordering & delegation of tasks in the kitchen Maintain & oversee rigorous standards of hygiene & cleanliness of the kitchen using cleaning schedules and checklists Actively participate in the service for the restaurant Provide quality control, drive, consistency and speed. Be a creative force, contributing to the restaurant menu and weekly specials Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a kitchen management position Proven experience in a modern, fast-paced establishment (high volume operation) In depth knowledge of kitchen processes and procedures. Strong menu planning skills with an eye for creativity and plating. Excellent communication and customer service skills Great leadership and mentoring skills Time management skills, with the ability to adhere to workflow How to apply
