Essential: Tertiary qualifications in recreation planning, leisure studies, recreation management or equivalent related field Ability to plan, manage and prioritise multiple tasks while meeting operational deadlines; Demonstrated application of analytical, creative thinking and problem solving; Ability to work independently as well as a member of a work team Self-starter with achievement and outcomes orientation Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to instil confidence and develop good rapport Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times; Desirable: Project and resource management skills and experience Experience in a local government environment Knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory framework Appropriate research, reporting and computer skills Please note applicants will be contacted after Monday 13th January 2025 regarding progress of their application.
