Recreation Coordinator

The Recreation Coordinator will provide strong and dynamic leadership to the Recreation unit within the Active Communities Directorate. They will be responsible for the service planning and management of Council's community spaces including community facilities, sporting recreation reserves, parks, playgrounds, open spaces and committee development.
To be successful for this role you will require:
Degree or Diploma in Community Development, Recreation, or Facility Management with several years' experience or a lesser formal qualification with extensive relevant experience. Experience in writing, planning, and implementing service agreements, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated experience in the planning, development and/or management of recreation services, community facilities and community programs. Experience in developing and managing budgets. Supervision and management of staff. Valid National Police Check. Valid Working with Children Check. Valid driver's licence. What's in it for you:
