In this position, you'll deliver direct support, ensuring each patient receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs. Your expertise will help guide patients through their recovery journey, fostering an environment of compassion and reassurance during a critical time in their healthcare experience.
As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to continuously develop your skills and knowledge through professional development and hands-on experience. You will take accountability for your own standards of nursing care while also overseeing activities delegated to others. About You We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Unit team. The ideal candidate will possess:
Registration or eligibility for registration as a General Nurse with a current practising certificate, along with completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive nursing care and consult with experienced staff when needed.Experience in the care and management of acutely ill patients, demonstrating the ability to assess staff competence and contribute to their learning.A thorough understanding of nursing responsibilities in the recovery setting, with a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to regulatory standards.About CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
