Do you possess exceptional negotiation skills and a strong understanding of the claims recovery process?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a leading insurance specialist as a Recoveries Claims Consultant.
As a Recoveries Claims Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the Motor insurance claims team, focusing on managing and coordinating the recovery process for motor claims.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure successful claims recoveries, safeguarding the company's financial interests, and delivering exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and investigate Motor insurance claims to identify opportunities for recovery.
Engage in effective negotiation with relevant third parties, including other insurers, loss adjusters, and solicitors, to recover claims costs.
Collaborate with the internal claims team to gather essential data and supporting evidence for successful recoveries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date claims records and documentation.
Evaluate the feasibility of legal action and liaise with legal counsel when necessary.
Provide regular updates to clients, brokers, and management on recovery progress.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to claims recoveries.
The ideal candidate will have: Strong knowledge of the motor claims recoveries process within the insurance industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in handling litigated claims and working with legal teams is advantageous.
The ability to work both within a team though also comfortable to work autonomously.
