'Focuses on delivering quality healthcare and related services.Driven by a vision to enhance health outcomes for the community.What you'll be doingThe Recover @ Work Coordinator oversees workplace rehabilitation and Recover @ Work services for WSLHD employees, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
The role collaborates with key stakeholders to assist injured employees in returning to work.
In this role you will:
Manage workplace rehabilitation across WSLHD.Partner with Claims Manager and key stakeholders.Develop tailored recovery strategies for injured employees.Provide expert advice on Workers Compensation legislation.Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.Minimum Requirements Current NSW Driver's Licence Class C and hold SIRA NSW (WorkCover) Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation and/or equivalent relevant experience.Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the principles and related guidelines of the NSW Workers Compensation Act 1987, Workplace Injury Management Act 1998 and Amendments, WH&S Act and Regulation of 2011.Experience working in the workers compensation/injury management industry whereby your predominant tasks involved liaising with treatment providers, Insurance Case Managers, Managers, and injured workers.Experience working directly for an employer in a recover at work capacity where you were required to identify suitable duties, develop recovery at work plans, facilitate and chair portfolio meetings and undertake relevant training as a subject matter expert.Proven experience in human-centred case management, strategic planning, program development, high level advice and implementation of rehabilitation plans in a Risk Management Framework.Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to deliver proactive return to work initiatives and effectively engage injured workers.Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and a busy work environment with competing priorities.Proficient with utilising electronic claims management systems including but not limited to running statistical reports relevant to your portfolio.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed above by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.
