About the job The Record Officer ensures accurate and up-to-date records in the corporate recordkeeping system, playing a crucial role in managing SA Water's Records and Information Management program.
About Technology The Technology group oversees governance, risk management, and business performance, leading technology strategy and portfolio management.
They ensure efficient program delivery and drive digital transformation for exceptional customer outcomes aligned with corporate strategies and regulatory obligations.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will: Perform data entry tasks in the corporate recordkeeping system.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Register and lodge hard copy items for storage in compliance with State Records' Approved Storage Provider (ASP) standards.
Coordinate retrieval, scanning, access, and return of records from archival storage when requested.
Assist in maintaining compliance with data management policies and regulations.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate access to relevant information and compliance with records management legislation.
Support the retrieval and organization of information as needed.
Collaborate with team members to improve recordkeeping processes.
Your success in this role will come from: Certificate 3 in Business (Records and Information Management), or equivalent experience working in Records and information Management roles (Desirable) Knowledge of State Records Act 1997 and relevant disposal schedules.
Ability to exercise initiative and judgement in the application of archival principles Proficiency in the use of electronic document management systems, including Microsoft SharePoint and Objective Demonstrated ability to establish good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels within a large government or commercial organisation and high level of written and verbal communication skills (Essential) Knowledge of SA Water or equivalent agency (Desirable)\ Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheet management products and a high level of attention to detail Proven ability to work as part of a team.
